Saturday, February 1, 2025, SOS: Strengthening Our Students will kick off Black History Month celebrating its 12th Annual Celebrity “Soup 4 the Soul” Fundraiser from 2:00pm until 5:00pm Cleveland Marriott East 26300 Harvard Road Warrensville Heights, Ohio 44122.
 

Soup 4 The Soul is sponsored by Tri-C, RPM International, POPEYES Louisiana Kitchen, Dollar Bank, Retina Associates of Cleveland, and Jay Auto Group just to name a few…
Event Hosts: Tri-C President Dr. Michael Baston, Fox 8 News Weekend Anchor Jazmin Bailey, and WOVU 95.9 FM DJ KRISTYLES.
 

Celebrity servers scheduled to appear; Fox 8 News, WKYC Channel 3, News Channel 5, WOIO Cleveland19 News, CW43 Focus, 93.1 FM WZAK Sam Sylk, Cleveland Cavaliers announcer Ahmaad Crump, Hope Haven Yvonne Pointer, On Air Personalities from ESPN, WKNR 850AM, WOVU 95.9 FM, and Special VIP Guests Congresswomen Shontel Brown, Cleveland Cavaliers Austin Carr and Hall of Famer from the O’Jays Eric Nolan Grant.
 

“Soup 4 the Soul” is an opportunity for the community to sample deliciously prepared soups. Live performance Cleveland’s own singer Tina Farmer and featuring The Warrensville Heights Marching Tigers.
 

There will be line dancing, door prizes, raffle, silent auction, vendors, and music. Last year’s event sold out!
 

In addition, prior to the event from 12:30pm-1:30pm there will be a special forum dedicated to Mental Health…Where Do We Go From Here? Mental Health professionals from Serenity Health & Wellness Corporation, and Brighter Tomorrow Community Services will discuss how to navigate through life challenges.
 

SOS: Strengthening Our Students is a 501©3 non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of family and children through education, life skills, and innovative programs, such as; Tutoring, Basketball Camp, Summer Day Camp, Overnight Camp, and HBCU College Tours.
 

SOS has given several college scholarships to help youth further their education.
